As part of the nationwide “Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign–2025”, a Swachhta Pledge and Swachhta Rally were organized on September 17, 2025 at the premises of Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) of THDC India Limited. All officers and employees of the project participated with great enthusiasm, reaffirming their commitment to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives.
During the rally held within the project premises, employees raised slogans spreading awareness about cleanliness, waste management, and the importance of a plastic-free environment.
On this occasion, Sh. Ajay Verma, Head of Project, VPHEP, addressed the gathering and stated, “Cleanliness is not merely an activity but a collective responsibility that ensures a healthier future for the coming generations. At VPHEP, we are committed to making every workplace, every event, and every initiative an example of sustainable and environment-friendly practices. Through the Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign, we are not only fulfilling our responsibility as responsible citizens but also inspiring the local community to adopt cleanliness as a way of life.”
The program concluded with the rally, where all employees actively participated and reiterated their commitment towards cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
