i. 600 MW Solar Power Park in Jhansi
- Foundation stone laid by Prime Minister on 19.11.21.
- Total 2700 Acres land has been acquired for the project.
- DPR amounting to Rs. 331.71 Cr. has been approved by THDCIL board on 19.05.2025.
- Work of Internal and External Power Evacuation System is in progress.
- Selection of Solar Power Developer (SPD) is in process.
- Development of Solar Power Park shall be done by Mar’26.
ii. 600 MW Solar Power Park in Lalitpur
- Foundation stone laid by Prime Minister on 04.03.2024.
- Out of 2700 Acres required land, 2380 acres (approx. 88.15 %) has been acquired for the project.
- DPR amounting to Rs. 347.78 Cr. has been approved by THDCIL Board on 19.05.2025.
- Work of Internal and External Power Evacuation System is in progress.
- The Implementation Support Agreement (ISA) for execution of Project as SPD has been signed with NTPC-REL on 24.10.2025.
- Development of Solar Power Park shall be done by Mar’26.
iii. 800 MW Solar Power Park in Chitrakoot
- Foundation stone laid by Prime Minister on 18.12.2023.
- Out of reassessed 3600 required land, 3292.03 acres (approx. 91.45%) has been acquired for the project.
- DPR amounting to Rs. 485.26 Cr. has been approved by THDCIL Board on 19.05.2025.
- Work of Internal and External Power Evacuation System is in progress.
- The Implementation Support Agreement (ISA) for execution of Project as SPD has been signed with NTPC-REL on 24.10.2025.
- Development of Solar Power Park shall be done by Mar’26.
Floating Solar Power Projects
After PFR, DPRs of following three projects have been prepared and are under review:
- Mata Tila Dam & Reservoir, Lalitpur (400 MW)
- Jamini Dam & Reservoir, Lalitpur (37 MW)
- Arjun Sagar, Mahoba (27 MW)
Proposal for issuing NOC for implementation of above projects by THDC/TUSCO has been submitted in the Cabinet of GoUP. Matter is under process with GoUP.
