Pipalkoti, Chamoli: Under the Vigilance Awareness Campaign–2025, THDC India Limited, Vishnugad–Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) organized an awareness program for rural women and men on 26th August 2025 at village Naurakh, Pipalkoti.
During the program, participants were given detailed information on important topics such as prevention of corruption, grievance redressal mechanisms, and cyber security. Around 52 villagers participated with great enthusiasm and also got their queries answered. Refreshments were arranged for all participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kamal Nautiyal, DGM (Vigilance, VPHEP) said: “THDC India Limited has always been working on the principles of transparency, integrity, and good governance. Creating vigilance awareness among villagers is not only important for the organization but also for society. Such campaigns help in spreading awareness among common people and empower them to stand firmly against corruption.”
Further, Shri Ajay Verma, Head of Project (VPHEP) said: “The Vishnugad–Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project is not just a source of regional development and power generation but is equally committed to social responsibility. Awareness programs like these are part of our commitment. We believe that such campaigns will enhance awareness among villagers and encourage them to contribute towards building a strong and transparent society.”
The program concluded with active participation and positive feedback from the villagers.
