World Malaria Day is observed every year on 25th April with the primary objective of raising public awareness about malaria, strengthening global efforts for its prevention and control, and working towards the ultimate goal of eliminating this life-threatening disease.
In this regard, to mark World Malaria Day 2025, various awareness and health safety activities were organized at the Corporate Office, Rishikesh of THDC India Limited on 24th and 25th April 2025. Giving top priority to the health and well-being of employees and their families, extensive fogging and misting operations were carried out across the office premises and residential colonies.
The primary aim of this initiative was to prevent the spread of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases, and to ensure a clean and safe environment. Under the supervision of Niramaya Swasthya Kendra, Rishikesh these measures also served to sensitize all employees about the risks associated with mosquito-borne infections and encouraged the maintenance of hygiene practices.
