1735.05 Ha. land in Village - Bodana, Tehsil - Nachana-I, Distt. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan for development of around 870 MW Solar Park/UMREPPs- proposal sent to RRECL on 31.01.2025.
3020 Ha. land in Village -Ranjeetpura, Tehsil - Bajju, Distt. - Bikaner, Rajasthan for development of around 1510 MW Solar Park/UMREPP - proposal sent to RRECL on 13.03.2025.
1936 Ha. Govt. land at village- Chinnu, Tehsil - Nachana-I, Distt. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan for development of 970 MW Solar Park/UMREPP - proposal sent to RRECL on 17.09.2025.
1843.60 Ha. Govt. land at Village-Dhudsar, Tehsil-Pokhran Dist. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan for development of around 921 MW Solar Park/UMREPP - proposal sent to RRECL on 14.11.2025.
2417 Ha. Government land parcel in Village-Dawara, Tehsil-Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan for development of around 1209 MW Solar Park/UMREPP - proposal sent to RRECL on 02.12.2025.
- Recently, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, GoI requested vide DO letter dated 14.10.2025 to Principal Secretary, Revenue & Colonization Deptt, GoR, to expedite the allotment of identified three aforesaid Govt. Land Parcels to TREDCO at the earliest.
- On 31.10.2025, Energy Deptt., State Govt. of Rajasthan sent recommendation to Secretary, MNRE, GoI to accord In-principle approval under UMREPP (Mode-8) of MNRE Scheme in the name of TREDCO Rajasthan Limited as the implementing agency for development of RE park with a capacity of 870 MW at identified location at Village-Bodana, Jaisalmer.
- RRECL, vide letter dated 12.12.2025, conveyed the response of the Colonization Department, Jaipur, which stated (as per the report of Colonization Commissioner, Bikaner) that the recommended 1,735.05 Ha. Govt. land at Bodana is not suitable for allotment.
- TREDCO, vide letter dated 15.12.2025, requested RRECL to:
Shift the Solar Park registration from Village Bodana (870 MW) to Village Chinnu (970 MW), where 1,936.631 hectares of Government land has been identified (proposal submitted to RRECL on 17.09.2025).
Recommend the identified land at Village Chinnu to the Colonization Department for allotment in favour of TREDCO.
Align the earlier recommendation of the Energy Department to MNRE for In-Principle Approval with the revised proposal for a 970 MW Solar Park at Village Chinnu.
In view of above, TREDCO plans to develop a 970 MW Solar Park at Village Chinnu in place of 870 MW Solar park at village Bodana.
