THDCIL reaffirmed its commitment towards the vision of a Clean and Green India through active participation in the nationwide Swachhata Pakhwada–2026 initiative. Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that THDCIL is actively observing Swachhata Pakhwada from 16th May to 31st May 2026 across all its Offices and Project locations to promote cleanliness, hygiene and environmental sustainability. He emphasized that the initiative reflects THDCIL’s unwavering commitment towards the vision of Swachh Bharat envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and inspired by Mahatma Gandhi Ji's vision of a clean, healthy and developed India.
Shri Neeraj Verma, Executive Director (C&MM and CP), administered the Swachhata Pledge at THDCIL Corporate Office, Rishikesh, reaffirming the collective resolve towards maintaining cleanliness and fostering a healthy environment. Employees pledged to dedicate time towards cleanliness, refrain from littering and motivate others to actively participate in the Swachh Bharat Mission. Dr. A. N. Tripathy, CGM (HR-Admin, CC), Shri Ajay Goel, CGM (MPS), Shri Ajay Garg, CGM (Finance), Sh. H. K. Jindal, GM (S&E) and other senior officials of THDCIL were also present during the pledge ceremony.
The Swachhata Pledge ceremony was also organized across various Offices and Project locations of THDCIL reflecting the organization’s collective commitment towards cleanliness, hygiene and environmental consciousness.
