The 444 MW Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP), currently under construction, has proudly achieved another significant milestone in its progress. Today, the erection of the Draft Tube of Unit #2 in the Power House has commenced, with two segments of the draft tube liner successfully installed. This marks a crucial step towards the erection of Electro Mechanical Equipment in the Power House.
On this auspicious occasion, several esteemed officials were present, including Sh. Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager (Project), Sh. Arun Kumar, AGM (E&M), Sh. S.P. Dobhal, AGM (PH-Civil), Sh. R.S. Makhloga, DGM (HM), Sh. Anil Nautiyal, DGM (E&M), Sh. P.K. Mishra, DGM (BHEL), and other senior officials from THDC and BHEL.
Sh. Ajay Verma, CGM (Project), congratulated the entire EM Unit, BHEL engineers, BHEL’s vendors, and all associated workers for their unwavering efforts and dedication. He acknowledged their hard work and commitment, which have been instrumental in reaching this significant milestone.
