Rishikesh, 21-03-2026: THDC India Limited, a Mini-Ratna Public Sector Undertaking, is participating in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a premier global conference and exhibition for the power and electricity sector, being held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi from March 19–22, 2026. On the inaugural day, the stall of THDC India Limited was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal; Hon’ble Union Minister of New & Renewable Energy, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Shri Pralhad Joshi; and Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik. Shri Pankaj Agarwal, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Power, along with senior officials, were also present on the occasion. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Chairman and Managing Director, THDCIL, Shri Sipan Kumar Garg. THDCIL showcased its initiatives and achievements across Hydropower, Pumped storage, Solar, and Wind energy, reflecting its diversified portfolio and growing role in the sector. Aligned with national priorities, THDCIL continues to contribute significantly to strengthening India’s energy security and advancing the clean energy transition. During the occasion, Shri Neeraj Verma, Executive Director and Dr. A. N. Tripathy, Chief General Manager (HR and A & CC) were also present. Connecting Globally.”, the event brings together international industry leaders to deliberate on future energy pathways. Through expert-led sessions and interactions, the summit focuses on meeting India’s rising energy needs while advancing sustainable and diversified power solutions.
