THDC India Limited is delighted to announce the successful commencement of Unit 1 slab in the Transformer Hall of the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP). This milestone underscores THDC’s steadfast commitment to driving clean energy development and infrastructure growth for the nation.
Above slab concreting activity shall facilitate the GIS floor/ Cable Gallery slab in the Transformer Hall at elevation EL 1043.5 of Unit 1. This marks a significant phase in the construction of first floor of the transformer hall, laying a solid foundation for subsequent work within the powerhouse.
On this auspicious occasion, a puja ceremony was performed in the presence of Sh. Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager (Project). The event was graced by senior officers of VPHEP, including Sh. P.S. Rawat (AGM, I/C Power House), Sh. Arun Kumar (AGM, E&C), Sh. S.P. Dhobhal (AGM, PH), and Sh. Sajit Kumar (Project Manager, HCC), among others, who celebrated this achievement and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the workforce.
