• All necessary clearances FC, EC, Mining Lease and CTE accorded.
  • Entire 1412.37 Ha land including Govt. & Pvt. land required for Amelia Coal Mine has been acquired by  THDCIL. However, for physical possession of private land, shifting of PAFs is under progress.
  • Mine is being operated in MDO mode by M/s Amelia Coal Mining Ltd.
  • Mine has been opened on 17.11.2022 and Coal Extraction also started from 18.02.23.
  • Approx. 81.88 lakh ton Coal has been produced so far.
  • Coal Dispatch from Railway Siding at Deoragram Railway Station to NTPC started from 29.06.23 and 1234 rakes (47.09 Lakh ton Coal)  have been dispatched till Dec’25.
  • Coal dispatch to KSTPP started from 06.08.2024 and 853 rakes(32.71 Lakh ton Coal) have been dispatched till Dec’25.
  • Commercial Operation Date (COD) of Amelia Coal Mine has been declared as 18.02.2025.
