Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) of THDC India Limited (THDCIL) commemorated the 150th anniversary of India’s National Song “Vande Mataram” by organizing a Mass Singing of the song at its project premises in Pipalkoti.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all officers and staff of VPHEP. The entire campus reverberated with patriotic zeal as employees collectively rendered the national song, symbolizing unity, devotion, and reverence for the motherland.
The program was graced by the presence and participation of Sh. Ajay Verma, Head of Project (VPHEP), along with senior officers including Sh. K.P. Singh, GM (TBM); Sh. P.S. Rawat, GM (Power House/TBM); Sh. R.S. Rana, GM (EM); Sh. Sanjay Mamgain, AGM (HM/Mechanical); Sh. S.P. Dobhal, AGM (Power House); Sh. O.P. Arya, AGM (CO/Township); Sh. R.S. Panwar, DGM (CO); Sh. B.S. On this occasion, Sh. Ajay Verma, Head of Project, highlighted the historical significance of “Vande Mataram” and its enduring contribution to India’s freedom movement. He emphasized that such initiatives instill patriotic values and inspire collective commitment toward nation-building.
