In a continued effort to promote transparency, integrity, and accountability, the Vigilance Department of THDC India Limited organized a Vigilance Awareness Program for contractors and suppliers associated with the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP).
The event aimed to enhance awareness among stakeholders about key vigilance-related topics such as the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS), Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) provisions, internal vigilance complaint mechanisms, and mandatory labour compliances for contractors. The session was conducted through an informative presentation by Sh. Kamal Nautiyal, DGM (Vigilance) and Sh. Sumit Tamta, Sr. Manager (Vigilance).
The program was graced by Sh. B.S. Pundir, AGM (Planning & Safety), who attended the workshop as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of ethical practices in public sector operations and urged all contractors to align their operations with the principles of good governance.
The event also witnessed the esteemed presence of senior officials including Sh. R.S. Makhloga (DGM, Mechanical & HM), Sh. O.P. Arya (DGM, Contract Operation/B&R), Sh. Anil Nautiyal (DGM, HM), Sh. Y.S. Chauhan (Manager, PR), Sh. D.S. Panchpal (Manager, B&R), Sh. Abhishek Singh Tomar (Asst. Manager, HR&A), and Sh. Avinash Kumar (Asst. Manager, PR).
The program concluded with an interactive session, where participants actively engaged with the speakers, clarifying their queries and sharing suggestions. The Vigilance Department reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a transparent and compliant work culture across all levels of THDCIL’s operations.
