The Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) of THDC India Limited has once again made the organization proud with its outstanding achievements at the 38th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC 2024). Held at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, from December 27 to 30, 2024 and organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), the event brought together top organizations from across the nation to showcase their commitment to quality and innovation.
Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and dedication to operational excellence, two teams from VPHEP secured top honors.
Team QC PRAYAS clinched the Par Excellence Award (the highest honor) for the third consecutive year. Their presentation on “Frequent interruptions during online meetings in the Conference Hall at VPHEP” impressed the jury with its innovative solutions to enhance meeting efficiency.
Team QC ALAKNANDA earned the Excellence Award (the second-highest honor) for their impactful presentation on “Mismanagement of materials at VPHEP sites,” showcasing their commitment to optimizing material management processes.
On January 6, 2025, members of both teams handed over the awards and certificates to Sh. Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager & HoP (VPHEP).
