On 21st June 2025, Amelia Coal Mine Project, Singrauli celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and widespread participation. The highlight of the program was a special 1.5-hour Yoga session conducted by a yoga trainer, Smt. Kirti Pandey aimed at promoting health, mindfulness, and physical well-being among the employees. The yoga session began with an introduction to the importance of yoga in daily life, followed by guided practice. The trainer led the participants through a structured routine that included breathing exercises (pranayama), basic and intermediate yoga postures (asanas), stretching, and relaxation techniques.
OSD, Sh. A.K.Sharma, ACMP, addressed the participants and highlighted how yoga is a physical activity and a way to harmonize the body and mind. He encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their everyday routine, emphasizing its long-term benefits for physical and mental health. CGM (Project), Sh. Rajeev Govil, also spoke on the occasion and elaborated on how yoga helps manage stress, boosts immunity, and enhances overall life quality. Both speakers inspired the participants to make wellness a consistent priority.
