To conduct a comprehensive review of ongoing activities, operational efficiency, and team performance of the Amelia Coal Mine Project, Chief Vigilance Officer (THDCIL), Ms. Rashmita Jha visited the Project on 30.04.2025.
Sh A.K.Sharma OSD (Amelia), Sh. Rajeev Govil, GM (Project) and other senior officials of ACMP, Singrauli welcomed CVO (THDCIL) during her maiden visit to Amelia Coal Mine Project. A formal interaction with the employees was made by CVO and a meeting was held at THDCIL Office, Waidhan where a detailed presentation was delivered outlining the overall progress of the project, key milestones achieved, current challenges, and the roadmap for future phases.
Post presentation, a site visit was conducted by the CVO to observe the ongoing mining activities. CVO (THDCIL) congratulated the whole team of Amelia for the timely achievement of milestones so far and appreciated the team for dedicated efforts to achieve the coal production and dispatch target given by MoC in FY 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25. She also appreciated the best safety practices followed in the mining operation and congratulated the team for achieving zero fatal accidents & zero serious accidents in the mine. She was keenly interested in mining activities, continuous improvement in operational practices, environmental concern, and teamwork of ACMP, Singrauli. Her remarks were both appreciative and constructive, recognizing the team’s dedication while encouraging innovation and efficiency.
The visit concluded with a reaffirmation of organizational goals and a shared commitment by all team members to uphold the high standards set under her leadership.
