THDCIL and NHPC signed a Memorandum of Agreement in New Delhi on 21st November, 2024, for CSR support of Rs. 97 Lac. (apprx.) towards procurement of Equipment for Sports Science Laboratory at THDCIL High Performance Academy at Koteshwar, Tehri (Uttarakhand). This marks a significant step towards establishing a High Performance Sports Academy dedicated to Kayaking and Canoeing.
The agreement was signed by Sh. Amardeep, GM (S&E) from THDCIL, and Sh. Anand Tembre, GM (CSR/HR) from NHPC in the presence of Sh. U.S. Shahi, Executive Director (CSR), NHPC.
The primary goal of this project is to provide athletes with world-class facilities for their preparation and training, elevating their performance to international standards.
The ceremony was also attended by Ms. Anamika Budakoti, Manager S&E THDCIL, Sh. Shiv Kumar, Sr. Manager CSR, NHPC and other officials from NHPC.
