Physical Progress:
- Dam excavation: Concreting in all 05 blocks is in progress and around 55% of the concreting work has been completed.
- De-silting Chambers:Around 87% concrete lining work completed in all 3 DCs with completion targeted by Apr’26.
- HRT by DBM (Total 1591 m): Around 98 % Excavation completed. Overt lining completed around 1309 m.
- HRT by TBM (Total 11,359 m): Total 7718 m (68%) HRT constructed up to 31st Dec’25 through TBM with completion targeted by Oct’26.
- Machine Hall:
In Unit-1, Concreting up to Generator barrel completed up to EL 1030.45 m, further R/f and shuttering work for slab is in progress. Assembly of stator of Unit -1 in Service Bay is in progress.
In Unit-2, R/f and shuttering work for concreting up to Generator barrel is in progress.
In Unit-3, Concreting up stay ring pedestal foundation and concreting of crane beam columns is in progress
In Unit-4, After Raft concreting, pedestal shuttering for Draft tube erection and concreting of crane beam columns is in progress.
- Transformer Hall: In Unit-1, EoT Crane is operational. GIS slab casting of all Units has been completed. Further, concreting of EoT crane columns above GIS floor in Unit - 2 & 3 is in progress. In Unit - 4, R/f work for crane beam is in progress.
- TRT (Total 3.04 km): Around 99.60% heading (3033 m) & 48.30% benching (1469 m) excavation completed and balance is in progress. Overt lining completed in around 886 m and balance is in progress.
- Physical Progress: 74.00% (up to Dec’25)
- Commissioning Schedule: Commissioning of 1st Unit is targeted by Mar’27 and 4th Unit (last Unit) by Sep’27.
