On 03 January 2026, Shri Kumar Sharad, Executive Director (Projects), carried out a site inspection of various construction works of the 444 MW Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP). On the first day of inspection, he visited the Helang Dam site, where the Chief General Manager (Project), Shri Ajay Verma, and the General Manager (Dam), Shri R.P. Mishra, briefed him in detail about the progress of works being executed in the dam area.
In the second phase of the inspection, the Executive Director (Projects) visited the Power House, where Shri Verma apprised him of the progress of construction works of the underground power house. Subsequently, in the afternoon, a review meeting was held at the project office with all project officers, during which he issued directions to further accelerate project works, ensure strict compliance with quality standards, and execute works with complete transparency.
In addition, a separate meeting was held with officials of the executing agencies associated with the project, during which the Executive Director (Projects) issued necessary instructions to ensure that all works are completed within the stipulated time frame and with high quality.
On the second day of inspection, i.e., 04 January 2026, the Executive Director (Projects), along with the Project Head, conducted a ground-level inspection of the TBM site and reviewed the progress of various works.

Shrivastava (Additional General Manager – Finance & Accounts), Shri O.P. Arya (Additional General Manager – C.O.), Shri R.S. Panwar (Deputy General Manager – C.O.), Shri Sharad Chandra Bhatt (Deputy General Manager – Quality Control), Shri Girdhari Lal (Deputy General Manager – Dam), Shri Dinesh Aswal (Deputy General Manager – TBM), Shri V.D. Bhatt (Senior Manager – HR & Admin.), other officers, and officials from the executing agencies associated with the project.
