NCQC-2020 was conducted online by Quality Circle Federation of India (QCFI) for 2020. The results for the same were announced on 27th December 2020 via a virtual ceremony. Every year hundreds of organization from public as well as private sector participate in the NCQC.

Total 9 teams from THDCIL participated in NCQC-2020. THDCIL stood apart among various participating organization since 5 out of the 9 teams bagged "Par Excellence Award" which is the highest award in the convention. These 5 teams have become eligible for participation in International Quality Convention 2021. It is to mentioned that for the first time THDCIL QC teams  awarded par excellence  in Five numbers .These 5 teams are-

  1. Chetna
  2. Jal Tarang
  3. Lakshya
  4. Sanjeevani
  5. Shakti

Apart from this 2 teams namely Darpan and Jal Shakti bagged Excellence awards and 2 teams Bharat and Punarnava bagged Distinguish award in NCQC-2020.
