Rishikesh-06.12.2021:THDC India Limited is organizing a state-level painting competition on Energy Conservation under the ambit of “AzadikaAmritMahotsav” for school students in the state of Uttarakhand. This competition is being organized under the aegis of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. The competition has been started on 1st December at various centers in the state and is scheduled to culminate on 10th December 2021 on THDCIL’s premises. The theme for the competition is ‘AzadikaAmritMahotsav: Energy Efficient India’ and ‘AzadikaAmritMahotsav: Cleaner Planet’. More than 1,100 students from various schools in the state have participated till 6th December at various centers. It is to mention that the winners of the painting competition will be awarded on 10th December 2021 at Rasmanjari Hall, THDC India Limited. Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with the commissioning of the Tehri Dam HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
