Amrit Vatika is developed at the THDCIL Corporate office to renew and replenish Mother Earth, under the Meri Maati Mera Desh initiative. HoD (S&E) and OSD (S&E) welcomed Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance) and Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel) THDC India Limited on the occasion of the development of Amrit Vatika under the "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign with the planting of 75 saplings of indigenous species Sh. J. Behera during his address to the employees present on the occasion emphasized that the Nationwide “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign was launched to pay tribute to the courageous souls who laid down their lives for the country. It envisions a unified celebration of India’s soil and valour. Sh. Shallinder Singh stressed the importance of initiatives like “Meri Maati Mera Desh” by the Government of India in instilling a profound sense of national pride. He noted how such initiatives serve as enduring sources of inspiration for future generations, encouraging them to safeguard India's cherished heritage. The event was enthusiastically graced by the presence of Sh. Atul Jain, Executive Director (Technical), Sh. A. B. Goel, Executive Director (Finance), and other senior officials of THDCIL, reflecting the organization's unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability.
