Pipalkoti, 3rd March 2025 – In a remarkable display of social responsibility and humanitarian spirit, the CISF Unit of Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP), in collaboration with THDC India Limited (THDCIL) VPHEP Dispensary and District Hospital, Gopeshwar organized a Blood Donation Camp at the VPHEP Unit on the occasion of CISF Security Week (3rd March - 10th March 2025). The initiative aimed to promote noble cause of blood donation and contribute to saving lives in times of medical emergencies.
The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Ajay Verma, Head of Project (VPHEP), and Sh. Vishwanath Avuti, Deputy Commandant, CISF, in the presence of senior officials including Sh. J.S. Bisht, General Manager (Mechanical, S&E), Sh. V.D. Bhatt, Senior Manager I/c HR&A, Dr. Nikita Sharma, Senior Medical Officer (VPHEP), and Dr. Pawal Pal, Medical Officer, District Hospital, Gopeshwar.
CISF personnel and THDCIL employees actively participated in the blood donation drive, reaffirming their commitment to the noble cause of community welfare. The medical team ensured all necessary health checkups and safety protocols for the donors, making the event a seamless and well-organized effort.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Ajay Verma, Head of Project (VPHEP), commended the initiative and emphasized the importance of blood donation as a life-saving act. He encouraged all employees to actively contribute to such social initiatives. Sh. Vishwanath Avuti, Deputy Commandant, CISF, also appreciated the overwhelming response from CISF personnel and THDCIL employees, highlighting the significance of such efforts in fostering a spirit of service and solidarity.
The blood donation camp successfully collected 25 units blood, which will be utilized by local hospitals to support patients in need. The event underscored the commitment of CISF and THDCIL towards social welfare and public health of local community.
