Physical Progress:
- Dam excavation: Around 94.60% excavation completed. Dam concreting of Block -1 (NOF) Left Bank and Block-5 (NOF) Right bank is in progress.
- De-silting Chambers: Excavation already completed and around 71.60% lining work completed in all 3 DCs. Balance lining work is scheduled to be completed by Jan’25.
- HRT by DBM: Excavation already completed. Kerb concreting and overt lining completed in the length of 883 m and 805 m respectively.
- TBM Operation: 3084 m HRT has been constructed and further HRT construction is in progress. A record progress of more than 500m/month (509m) has been achieved with 29m single day progress on 25.09.2024 during Sep’24 in VPHEP.
- In Machine Hall: In Unit-1 area, around 48% casting of crane beam columns up to crane beam bottom has been completed and balance work is in progress. Erection of Draft Tube liner in Unit-1 is also in progress. Unit-4 pit excavation is in progress.
- Transformer Hall: Around 12.50% concreting work of all 62 nos columns up to GIS floor has been completed and is in progress.
- In TRT, approx. 77.80% heading excavation has been completed.
- Physical Progress: 68.40% (up to Sep-24)
Financial Progress: The expenditure incurred on VPHEP till Sep’2024 is Rs. 4056.80 Cr.
Commissioning Schedule: All out efforts are being made to commission the 1st Unit by Mar’26.
