- Boiler Hydro Test of Unit-1 & 2 successfully completed on 15.03.23 & 02.11.23 respectively.
- Boiler-1 light up done on 21.03.24. Unit-1 Steam blowing also completed successfully on 30.06.24.
- Chimney-1 is operational. In Chimney-2, flue-can erection in progress. Field charging of ESP-1 Pass-A, B, C & F and insulation works in Pass A, B & C completed
- Unit-1 IPBD and GTs are ready for charging. TG-1 HP Bypass system, LP Bypass system and Main Turbine governing system commissioned.TDBFP-A barring Gear achieved.
- Unit-2 Generator and Turbine boxed-up; panel erection/ testing, piping, GT associated works, etc. in progress.
- CWPH is operational for Unit-1. Unit-2 pumps’ work under progress.
- 400 kV Switchyard, Transmission Lines & Sub-station are ready for power evacuation.
- CT-1 is ready. In CT-2 all fans, motors, gearbox installed. Panel installation, cabling & termination, in progress.
- Wagon Tippler-1 facility and Coal Crusher is operational. Coal path-1 including SR-1 is also ready and stacking of coal in stockyard commenced. WT-2 civil works completed; structural/ equipment erection in progress. WT-3 works also in progress.
- 1st Coal rake reached Khurja STPP from captive Amelia Coal Mine (Singrauli, MP) on 07.08.24.Further, initial 10 rakes of coal successfully received, unloaded and stacked at Khurja stockyard.
- Railway siding works are in advance stage of progress. Downline from Danwar station of Indian Railways to Khurja STPP is operational. In upline, ROR bridge structure completed. Balance rail linking and OHE works in progress.
- Facility for water supply from Ganga canal at Mundakhera to Khurja STPP is operational long back and water is being supplied to the Khurja plant.
