Sh. Rajeev Vishnoi, CMD, THDC India Limited conferred D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) by Tliak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth on 11 March 2023 for his exemplary performance in Power Sector and his outstanding contribution to the development of the country. Apart from Sh. Vishnoi three other public figure viz. Sh. Prashant Damle, Marathi Actor, Sh. Sanjay Kirloskar, Famous Industrialist and Sh. Anna Saheb Dange, Founder and Chairman of Sant Gyaneshwar University and noted Educationist were also awarded D. Litt. ( Honoris Causa). Dr Deepak Jayant Tilak, Hon'ble Chancellor of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth University and Great-Grandson of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak conferred the award to Sh. Vishnoi. Vidyapeeth University is a historical University located in Pune established in 1921 by Mahatma Gandhiji. It is to mention that Sh. Rajeev Vishnoi is also currently holding the additional responsibility of CMD, NHPC and NEEPCO. He is currently the President of Indian Committee of International Commission of Large Dams (INCOLD) and also representing India in INCOLD for the Technical Committee on Seismic Safety of Dams. He is also a member of the World Bank Expert Group
