Rishikesh, 27 Jan. 2021: Sh. D.V. Singh, CMD, THDCIL hoisted the national flag at the corporate office, Rishikesh on 26.01.2021 on the occasion of Republic Day. While addressing the gathering on this occasion Sh. Singh stressed on the importance of the Power Sector in the Nation’s Development and also outlined the contribution of THDC India Limited in fulfilling its philosophy of “Generating Power…Transmitting Prosperity…”. Sh. D.V. Singh, CMD, THDCIL urged the employees to work harder and harder to take this Corporation to new heights.
Sh. Vijay Goel, Director(Personnel), Sh. J. Behera, Director(Finance), Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, Director(Technical), and Sh. B.P. Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer along with other senior Executives were also present on this occasion.
THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with an installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW), Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, Dhukwan Small Hydro Project (24MW) at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh as well as 50MW Solar Project at Karsargod, Kerala to its credit.
