Rishikesh-10.12.2021:THDC India limited successfully organized a state level painting competition on Energy Conservation under the ambit of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” for school students in the state of Uttarakhand. This competition was organized under the aegis of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. The competition started on 1st December at various centers in the state and culminated on 10th December 2021 on THDCIL’s premises with a prize distribution ceremony.
The Chief Guest for the program Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance) facilitated the winners of the competition. It is to mention that a total number of 1609 students from various schools of the state participated in this competition. Under Group-A Ms. Adya Shrestha, Class 7th, Acharyakulam Haridwar School bagged the first prize, Master Rishi Kumar, Class 6th, Delhi Public ScoolRanipur, Haridwar and Ms. Tanisha Raj, Class 7th, Acharyakulam Haridwar School got second and third positions. Whereas under Group-B Ms. Rama Sharma, Class 9th, Acharyakulam Haridwar bagged first position, Ms. P. Saishama, Class 9th, Acharyakulam Haridwar and Ms. Garima Chahal, Class 8th, Delhi Public School Ranipur, Haridwar got second and third positions.
The competition was organized under the leadership of Sh. Veer Singh, GM (HR). During the award distribution ceremony, the Jury members, students, their parents, and other officials of THDC were also present.
