Rishikesh: 30.10.2023:- Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman Managing Director of THDC India Limited, informed that THDCIL officially kicked off Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 with an inauguration ceremony held at the Ganga Bhawan, Corporate Office in Rishikesh. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed directors, including Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance), who administered the Integrity Pledge to employees, in the gracious presence of Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel). Sh. Vishnoi further informed that the Central Vigilance Commission organizes Vigilance Awareness Week every year during the week of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday. This year, the Commission has decided to celebrate Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 from October 30 to November 5, 2023 with the theme - "Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation." During this momentous occasion, Sh. J. Behera, Director(Finance), Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director(Personnel), unveiled a significant booklet titled "सजगता एवं सतर्कता; राष्ट्र हित के लिए प्रतिबद्धता,” emphasizing the commitment to vigilance and integrity for the benefit of the Nation. The ceremony was also attended by Senior Officials of THDCIL, Sh. A. B. Goel, ED (Finance), Sh. Veer Singh, CGM (HR-Admin), Sh. A. K. Goel, Deputy CVO and other Officials of Corporate Office, Rishikesh. Separately, Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Director(Technical) administered the Integrity Pledge to all the officers and employees present at the dam site of 444 MW VPHEP during his inspection visit at the Alaknanda Puram campus and project sites of THDCIL's Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP). On this occasion, other key individuals including Sh. Atul Jain, ED (Technical), Sh. R. N. Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Project), Sh. K. K. Singhal, CGM (MPS), Ajay Verma (GM, Civil) along with other senior employees were also present. Sh. Vishnoi stated that Vigilance Awareness Week at THDC India Limited promises to be a period of reflection and dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics in the pursuit of the nation's welfare. THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
