TAKSHASHILA-SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Nestled in the lap of Himalaya at the bank of River Ganges this world class infrastructure for Training & Learning have been developed with an objective to excel in the field of T&D through innovative and mutually beneficial stakeholders interface and to provide training facilities ( infrastructure &Resources) for Corporate . This Centre is located in 17 Acres of land spread over in lush green Mango Orchard in a pleasing ambience.
The idea is to give a feel of Himalayan Heartland with all modern facilities, to make learning a real fun. Facilities are available for Training & Conferences. Provision of start to end solutions for all training needs is available.
Infrastructure & Resource:
- Two Academic Blocks: - Comprising of training hall viz L-1 (Dronacharya Hall) & L-2 (Sridev Suman Hall) with seating capacity of 60 & 40 respectively with public address system, recording and projection systems
- Syndicate Rooms: - Two rooms attached with each Training Hall. These can be used for group activity oriented sessions/ meetings.
- Administrative Block:- State of the Art Office Premises. Equipped with all the modern amenities and round the clock hi-speed internet connectivity and Conference Hall.
- Dining Hall: To cater the requirement up to 80 persons seating with proper buffet layout.
- Library: - Small set-up with books, journals and literature for quenching the thrust of Learners.
- Cottages: - 30 AC Cottages for participants and 05 AC Cottages for Faculties.
- Dormitory: Dormitories with total 40 bed capacity for group trainings / support staff.
- Club Building: Equipped with Gym, Yoga Facility, Badminton Court, Table Tennis, Billiard & Pool Table, Chess and Carom etc
- All the Infrastructure is well connected with WiFi Connectivity & Entertainment measures.
