The 444 MW under-construction Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) has achieved a significant milestone in its progress. On August 3, 2024, the EOT crane (150/50T) in the Power House was successfully commissioned and tested at full load capacity. This achievement marks a crucial step towards the erection of Electro Mechanical Equipment in the Power House.
The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed officials, including Sh. Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager (Project); Sh. P.S. Rawat, AGM (DAM); Sh. Arun Kumar, AGM (E&M); Sh. Akashdeep, DGM (Planning); Sh. A.K. Srivastava, DGM (Finance); Sh. Pappan Mishra, DGM (BHEL); Sh. Anil Nautiyal, Sr. Manager (EM); along with other senior officials from THDC and BHEL.
Shri Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager (Project), congratulated the entire Electro Mechanical Unit, BHEL engineers, BHEL’s vendors, and all associated workers for their unwavering efforts and dedication. He highlighted that this achievement underscores the collective commitment and hard work of all involved. Underlining the support of THDCIL top management, Sh. Verma said, "In the last year, VPHEP has achieved significant progress under the leadership of our honourable CMD, Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, and respected Director (Technical), Sh.
