On the 3rd of February 2024, the main Demineralised (DM) Water production plant, which operates on Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) technologies and Cooling Water Pump-1 (3450KW) has been successfully commissioned at Khurja Super Thermal Power Plant (KSTPP). The DM plant achievement marks a crucial step in ensuring the availability of high-quality DM water for various operational needs within the facility. While, the CW pump will circulate Clarified water after proper treatment and dosing mainly to TG Condenser for condenser cooling & ACW circuit for cooling of various equipments of the plant. Both these achievements are crucial for the upcoming Boiler Light-Up scheduled for February 2024. During the commissioning Sh. Kumar Sharad, ED (Project), Sh BK Sahoo, GM (E), Sh. Shailesh Dhyani, AGM (Mech.), Sh. Anil Tyagi, AGM (WTP), Sh Prabhat Ranjan, AGM (SG), Sh. Gajendra Singh, AGM (Safety), Sh N K Bhatt, AGM (M), Sh A K Vishwakarma, Sr. Manager (HR&A), Sh. Kannadhasan, Sr.Manager (WTP), Sh. Jeetendra Kumar, Manager, Sh. Nilesh Kumar, Dy. Manager, Abhishek Mahajan (Engineer-FTB) and other officials of THDCIL, NTPC, M/s Gaja Engg were present.
