Rishikesh:28.06.2021- Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Director (Technical), THDC India Limited and Sh. Shekhar Mehta, President (Nominated) Rotary Foundation (Rotary International) inaugurated a co-sponsored “Mobile SwasthyaSehat Van” through virtual medium. Sh. Vishnoi addressed the stakeholders during the inauguration and maintained that THDCIL is not only a leading power generation corporation but also committed for its social responsibilities. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, THDCIL is already steering various projects prioritizing healthcare, education and women empowerment. To provide better healthcare services in rural and project affected areas THDCIL has launched this CSR initiative with Rotary Club. This mobile health van will benefit around 12,000 families residing in remote areas of Jhaknidhar and Pratapnagar Block of Tehri district. Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
