Rishikesh-27.01.2023:THDC India Limited celebrated 74th Republic Day with fervor. Sh. Rajeev Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director unfurled the national flag and took the ceremonial salute at Corporate Office, Rishikesh. Thereafter, Sh. Vishnoi addressed the gathering andemphasized that THDC is working hard to successfully meet the nation’s demanding power requirement. Sh. Vishnoi also motivated the employees to keep marching to achieve new milestones for the corporation.
On this occasion Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance) was present. The live telecast of the program was done on all the project and unit offices. Sh. Atul Jain, ED (Technical), Sh. A. B. Goel, CGM (Finance), Sh. Veer Singh, CGM (HR & Admin), Sh. K. K. Singhal, CGM (MPS) and other corporation employees were present during the programme.
It is to mention that, on 27.01.2023, more than 400 students of T.E.S. School, Rishikesh and Bhagirathipuram Inter College, Tehri attended the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha” programme through virtual mode.
Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
