Rishikesh: 13.07.2021:Sh. Vijay Goel, Chairman & Managing Director, THDC India Limited (THDCIL) along with Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance) and Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, Director (Technical) called on Sh. R.K. Singh, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Power & NRE at Ministry of Power, New Delhi on 12th July 2021. They extended good wishes to the Hon’ble Minister on his recent elevation to the Cabinet Rank. Sh. Vijay Goel, CMD, THDCIL, briefed the Hon’ble Minster about the overall activities of the corporation. Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, Director(Technical) briefed the Hon’ble Minster about the progress made in construction of 1320MW Khurja Super Thermal Power Project as well as about the initiatives taken on floating solar power projects, Wind and Small Hydro Projects. Hon’ble Minister appreciated the overall functioning of THDCIL and desired that the company should grow and enhance its geographic presence in other parts of the country as well as in Uttarakhand. Hon’ble Minister also outlined that the company should acquire more projects in Uttarakhand and other hydro potential rich states in order to stimulate employment and wider economic growth.
