Rishikesh:25.05.2021: Sh. Vijay Goel, CMD and Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Director (Technical), THDC India Limited (THDCIL) called on Hon’ble Chief Minister, Uttarakhand Sh. Tirath Singh Rawat at Chief Minister Office in Dehradun today.
During this courtesy meeting they discussed wide range of issues including prospects of Power Projects in the State and contribution of THDCIL as a responsible corporate citizen with the Hon’ble Chief Minister. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Sh. Tirath Singh Rawat appreciated the role of THDCIL in State’s Power Infrastructure Development and assured all possible cooperation keeping in mind the available resources in the State and the technical capability of THDCIL.
Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
