March 8th of every year, is celebrated as 'International Women's Day' to commemorate not only women's achievements throughout history, but also to recognize the essence of being a woman, her strengths, sacrifices and unconditional love. It celebrates womanhood and pay tribute to the indomitable spirit of woman across the Globe.. To honour womanhood , International Women’s Day was celebrated by Corporate HRD for Women Employees of THDCIL on 08th March,2021 at HRD Campus, Aam Bag, Rishikesh. The theme of IWD2021 was “Choose to Challenge”. During the event, after welcome address, Resource person of the program , Ms Ritu Law Chauhan said that it is the time to uphold women’s achievement, recognizes challenges and focus greater attention on Women’s Rights and gender equality to mobilize all the people to do their best. On this occasion , various instructor led out bound activities were also carried out for the participants. The title of outbound Module was “RISE & SHINE”. The purpose was to harness the energy and creativity of Women Employees for elevating , celebrating and achievement of women workforce.
