Today, the Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP) of THDC India Limited reached a significant milestone with the commencement of reinforcement work for crane beam columns and raft for Unit-1 in the Machine Hall, following the completion of the installation of earth mat, earth electrodes, and PCC at MIV floor at Elevation Level 1015.50m. Sh. Ajay Verma, Chief General Manager (Project), laid the foundation stone, marking the beginning of this vital phase. The event was attended by senior officers of VPHEP, including Sh. K.P. Singh (AGM, TBM&PH), Sh. Arun Kumar (AGM, E&C), Sh. S.P. Dhobhal (DGM, PH), Sh. R.S. Makhloga (DGM, HM), and Sh. V.D. Bhatt (Sr. Manager, HR&A), among others. In his address, Sh. Ajay Verma commended the team for their dedication and underscored the project's progress under the guidance of Honorable CMD, Sh. R.K. Vishnoi and the support of Director (Personnel), Sh. Shallindra Singh and Director (Technical), Sh. Bhupendra Gupta. He emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum for the timely completion of the project, stressing the need for continued progress across all fronts. The ceremony represents a significant step forward for VPHEP, reflecting the collective efforts and commitment toward commissioning of the project.
