Tehri PSP (4x250 MW) status of work

  • Unit-1&2: Hot Commissioning of Unit-1 is in progress and its synchronization is targeted by Oct’24. Mechanical spinning of Unit-2 commenced successfully on 05.10.2024 and further spinning at rated speed is in progress. Commissioning of Unit-2 is targeted by Nov’24.
  • Unit-3:Boxing up completed on 15.09.2024 and Unit commissioning is targeted by Dec’24.
  • Unit-4: Rotor has been lowered in generator pit on 28.09.2024. Unit commissioning is targeted by Jan’25.

Civil & Hydro-mechanical Works

  • Butterfly Valves for Unit-3 & 4: Erection work of BFV-3 & BFV-4 is in progress and likely to be completed by end of Oct’24.
  • Main Inlet Valves for Unit-3 & 4: Erection work of MIV-3 & MIV-4 are in progress.
