Rishikesh, 17 Oct. 2019: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has paid a dividend of Rs. 93,76,92,000/- (Rupees Ninety Three Crore Seventy Six Lakh Ninety Two Thousand Only) to Govt. of India on account of its financial performance during F.Y. 2018-19
Shri DV Singh CMD, THDCIL handed over the pay order of Rs.93,76,92,000/- (Rupees Ninety Three Crore Seventy-Six Lakh Ninety Two Thousand Only) to Hon'ble MoS(IC) Power, NRE Govt. of India Sh. R.K. Singh on 17.10.2019 at Ministry of Power, New Delhi. On this occasion Sh. S.C. Garg, Secretary (Power), GoI, Sh. Rajpal, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Power, GoI, Sh. Anirudh Kumar, Joint Secretary (Hydro), MOP and Sh. R.N. Singh, GM(SP), and THDCIL were also present. .It is to mention that THDCIL had earlier paid a dividend of Rs. 314.76 Crore to Govt of India.
THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1513 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) and 50MW Wind Power Project at Patan Gujarat to its credit. It is to mention that THDCIL is implementing 1320MW Khurja Super Thermal Power Project in U.P. The foundation stone of the project was laid by Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi on 09.03.2019. THDCIL is bestowed with Mini Ratna Category I Schedule Status.
